The Democratic Republic of Congo is expected to provide stiff competition to England.
The Three Lions of England will take on the Leopards of Congo today at 4 p.m. for a place in the round of 16.
Ahead of the game, it appears some English fans have not learnt the lesson taught them by Ghana to never underestimate an African side.
A number of the English media outlets are already projecting a forecast into a round of 16 tie against tournament joint host, Mexico.
However, former England striker, Darren Bent, despite tipping his country to win, warned they Leopards could take a leaf out of Ghana’s book.
The Black Stars of Ghana shut out the attack of England for a goalless draw in a Group L tie, which drew criticisms of English pundits to their team.
Bent believes DR Congo would be no pushover, while asserting that England are better against better oppositions.
