Renowned Media Personality, MC Yaa Yeboah, says the funeral of highlife legendary Daddy Lumba is becoming unattractive.
According to her, the feud is erupting the mourning and ruining the sympathetic feelings that the death of the singer brought to the country.
Expressing her sorrows about how the family feud is gradually dethroning the empathy of the public in an interview on Max Morning Show in Accra on Tuesday, Yaa Yeboah stated that many were now thinking twice in donating to help the funeral.
She maintained that the back and forth was getting too much and the public would no longer take the funeral seriously to empathize with the bereaved family.
”The whole back and forth is too much and I think the funeral of Lumba is becoming unattractive. Because, if someone wanted to donate, now the person will think twice before donating,” Yaa Yeboah lamented.
She cited that one of the donors had retrieved the donation and called on the family to have proper deliberation on the funeral to bring back the empathy of the public.
”Now one of the Committee members who donated Gh¢200,000 has gone back for the money. If there’s any issue, they should sit and deliberate on it because at this point it’s not looking nice,” Yaa Yeboah added.
