Rapper Captain Planet, a member of the now defunct music group 4×4, has charged colleague King Promise to make good use of the current spotlight on him.
According to him, the Afrobeat singer could receive nomination for another Artiste of the Year at next year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), if he releases another big hit.
In a post shared on his official X account, Captain Planet stated that with the spotlight now on King Promise, the world would look forward to his music.
“If King Promise comes with some monstrous hit again, it’s likely that he can be nominated AOTY next year because now the spotlight is on him and everybody will be keeping up with whatever he has going on,” he tweeted.
Captain Planet indicated that other musicians who also gained nominations for the coveted category also had chances to be nominated again and urged them to be consistent.
“Same applies to the other AOTY Nominees,” he added.
