Caleb Yirenkyi has expressed his excitement after extending his stay at Danish club FC Nordsjælland.
The Ghanaian youngster has enjoyed a meteoric rise in his career since graduating to the first team in 2024.
Nordsjælland recognised Yirenkyi’s efforts and improvements, rewarding him with a six-year deal.
Reacting to his extension, Yirenkyi couldn’t help but share how happy he is at the club despite several wooing attempts from other clubs.
“I’m happy about the extension, and now I just want to continue to push on and do as well as I possibly can for FC Nordsjælland,” he said to the club’s website.
Yirenkyi made his debut for the Black Stars of Ghana in early 2025 at the Unity Cup in London and has been a mainstay ever since.
The Right to Dream Academy graduate remains a target for top Premier League clubs and may move despite signing a contract extension.
