The Kwabenya District Police Command has arrested four field officers of Bills Micro-Credit Limited following a viral video of them attacking a nursing mother over a GHC300.00 loan.
The unfortunate incident occurred at Ashongman Estate, to which the assailants and field officers of Bills were arrested on Sunday, March 15, 2026.
The police reacted swiftly after a viral post on social media sparked a public outrage, as the management of the financial institution launched an investigation into the incident.
The suspects have been identified as Denis Wornyo, 38; Albert Amarh, 40; Ebenezer Amartei, 23; and Atsu Lawson, 27, after the complainant, 42-year-old Hagar Emaser, reported the incident to the police.
