Gospel Songstress Esther Owusu, known in showbiz circles as Piesie Esther, says her greatest fear in life is to divorce her husband, Enoch Asiedu.
According to her, divorce ruins the union and destroys lots of things, thus, did not wish for any married person to pass through such a phase in life.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on the Max Morning Show in Accra on Thursday, Piesie Esther stated that she had never considered divorcing her husband irrespective of the “storms” engulfing her marriage.
”You have to build your marriage on a sturdy mountain so that even if the storms and waves of the shores hit it, it will only shake,” she said.
Touching on the repercussions of divorce, the “Wayε Me Yie” hitmaker observed that those who had divorced had no good story about it and prayed that God would always give her the strength to remain in her marriage till the end.
”It’s my prayer that something like that will never happen, and it’s not only about me; it’s my prayer for everyone. Those who had gone through divorce say lots of things about it. It’s not easy. Divorce breaks lots of things, and I pray that God should help me to remain in my marriage till the end,” she added.
Piesie Esther married her husband at the church of Pentecost in 2010.
The couple had remained solid and are seen as an example of a mentor for many Christians. She had described her husband as a blessing who has been her pillar in her career.
