Ghana Black Stars’ head coach Carlos Queiroz has emphatically stated he has one style of play.

The former Iran coach responded to a question on his style of football ahead of Ghana’s final Group L game against Croatia.

The Portuguese gaffer, over the years has carved a niche about himself— setting up teams to simply avoid defeat.

Manchester United legend, Gary Neville, following Ghana’s goalless draw against England, disclosed the prowess of Queiroz’s team setup when he was assistant to Sir Alex Ferguson.

Talking to Max TV’s Thierry Nyann in Philadelphia on Friday, June 26, 2026, the coach noted he only plays for a win regardless of how he sets his team up.

“I only have one style of play. I play for a win,” he affirmed, while assuring his team will “express themselves” against Croatia on Saturday night.
