2026 AFCON U-17: Where to Watch Ghana Vs. South Africa

Date:

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the highly tensed decisive clash in Group D of the 2026 U17 AFCON set for Wednesday night in Morocco.

With three points on the board, South Africa remain fully in the hunt for direct qualification going into this final group match. The Amajimbos got off to a flying start in the tournament with a win over Senegal (2-1) before slipping against Algeria (0-2).

As for Ghana, their hopes of survival in this 2026 U17 AFCON hang by a thread. After a thrilling draw with Algeria (2-2) and a narrow defeat to Senegal (0-1), the Black Starlets absolutely must beat South Africa to have any chance of reaching the next round—either directly or via the ranking of the best third-placed teams.

The South Africa vs Ghana match will take place on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, kicking off at 19:00 GMT at the Mohammed VI Football Academy in Salé, Morocco, live on Max TV.

Note: Pre-match discussions starts at 18:00 GMT
