The Black Stars are lodged in Puebla, Mexico, where they continue their preparations for Friday’s international friendly against Mexico.
The Ghanaians arrived in North America on Tuesday to begin their training camp ahead of the clash with Mexico scheduled for Friday, May 22, 2026.
This fixture forms part of Ghana’s build-up for the upcoming World Cup, set to be held in Mexico, Canada, and the United States in June.
Training sessions will continue today (Wednesday) and Thursday before this much-anticipated showdown.
Head coach Carlos Queiroz and his technical staff are hoping for a convincing performance from the team, with just days to go before the official announcement of Ghana’s final World Cup roster.
This friendly will also serve as an opportunity to assess several new talents aiming to earn a place with the Black Stars as well as the U23 squad.
