Ghana’s Foreign Minister Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has revealed a strategic partnership with Morocco to advance the sports sector and enhance its infrastructure.
The minister praised Morocco’s role as Africa’s sporting hub after the excellent hosting of the African Championships and increasing its level to a higher standard.
In a statement, Ablakwa said that Ghana is collaborating with Morocco when it comes to sports, highlighting the country’s hub for sporting activities in Africa.
“They have invested tremendously in sporting infrastructure, and we are working with them to also improve our facilities and to nurture our young talents so our co-operation with Morocco is becoming very broad, very deep and very wide,” he said.
This partnership represents a key alliance between the countries, which would in the long term be of great benefit to Ghana.
