Carney Chukwuemeka of Nigerian origin enjoyed a dream international debut against Ghana, bagging his maiden senior goal.

The Borussia Dortmund star chose to represent Austria, giving up on a lifelong dream to play for England.

Chukwuemeka added the fourth to Austria’s avalanche of goals against the Black Stars of Ghana at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna.

Marcel Sabitzer ran the show, leading by example with the opening goal of the game, followed by Michael Gregoritsch, Stefan Posch, and Nicola Seiwald’s strikes.

Ghana captain Jordan Ayew pulled one back for the African side as the game ended in a 5-1 defeat.
