Asante Kotoko have gone four games without a win after losing to Hohoe United.
The newly promoted side to the 2025-26 Ghana Premier League recorded their second consecutive win for the first time.
William Oduro netted the only goal of the game through a superb free kick in the 24th minute of the game, sending the home fans wild.
Hohoe United continued to dominate proceedings in the first half, with captain Safian Usman running the midfield.
The technical bench and travelling fans of Kotoko looked on disappointingly as the players struggled to create chances.
Kotoko had a more improved second half, managing to create few chances, but the defence and goalkeeper of Hohoe United remained resolute.
At the end of the game, head coach of Asante Kotoko, Karim Zito, apologised to the fans for his team’s display while slamming his players for being tactically undisciplined.
