Cecilia Atootaga, the mother of Hiplife musician Okomfuor Kwadee has revealed that the mental sickness of her son was as a result of substance abuse.
According to her, Kwadee picked up the lifestyle from the industry when he was at the peak of his career.
Speaking in a media interview over the weekend, Atootaga blamed music producer Hammer of the Last Two for the bad influence that has resulted in her son’s current status.
She denied the allegations made by Hammer that she was preventing her son from getting the needed help that would help him heal.
Atootaga explained that Hammer was only interested in the money he would use her son to rake from the industry, not the health of her son.
Citing the then rapper Pastor Lord Kenya, she stated that Lord Kenya was willing to help Kwadee in his recovery but the character of Hammer made Lord Kenya pull back.
