The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the immediate dissolution of the Management Committee of the Black Stars of Ghana.
The Management Committee was chaired by vice president of the Ghana Football Association, Mark Addo, Kwasi Agyemang (vice chairman), Samuel Osei Kuffuor, Kwame Ofosu Bamfo, Col. Kwadwo Damoah, and Alhaji Karim Grusah.
The failure of the Black Stars of Ghana, led by current head coach Otto Addo, to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations resulted in this move by the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association.
“Immediate dissolution of the Management Committee of the senior national football team, the Black Stars. In doing so, we sincerely thank the members of the Committee for their service to Ghana Football over the years,” a portion of a statement by the GFA read.
As reported earlier by max.com.gh, the Executive Committee would be meeting to decide the future of Otto Addo.
“The Executive Council will meet the Head Coach of the Black Stars, Mr. Otto Addo, on the 27th of November, 2024, to discuss his Technical report on the just ended AFCON qualifiers and the overall performance of the Technical team since assuming duty earlier this year,” the statement added.
