Popular singer Paul Nii Amu Andrew Darko, known in the industry as Darkovibes, has called on the public to treat with contempt any report suggesting that he had been smoking before performing on stage.
According to him, the information is false and should be discarded and treated with all the contempt it deserves.
In a recent media interview to dismiss such trending reports, Darkovibes said he never confessed anywhere that he smoked backstage before performing.
“Should you guys read it somewhere that I said I smoke backstage before I go on stage? I didn’t say that,” he said.
Though Darkovibes admitted to smoking, he never carried substances while moving around to conform to the laws of the country.
“I said I don’t walk around with substances that are illegal because, of course, I am a lawful citizen and I abide by the law,” he said.
Darkovibes also stated that marijuana or weed was recreational, explaining that he smoked to cool off his brains to give him a refreshing mind during music recording sessions.
Currently, the musician is promoting his Extended Play (EP) album dubbed “Intercontinental,” which was released on Friday, September 27.
