Norwich City creative midfielder, Forson Amankwah, will be making a return to the Black Stars ahead of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The former West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) youngster made a summer transfer to the English Championship side from Austrian giants, RB Salzburg and has already hit the ground running at Carrow Road.
Though suffering a knock and missing out on a place in Otto Addo’s squad announcement, he received a late call-up to join the squad as they prepare to move training base to Kumasi on Tuesday.
The highly anticipated qualifier opener will take place on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, at 4 p.m. live on Max TV.
