On Monday night, in a Saudi Super Cup match, Al-Nassr’s Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off after his team lost 2-0 against Al-Hilal.
The Portuguese captain was sent off for elbowing Ali-Bulaihi.
Al-Nassr had a goal disallowed when Ronaldo tried touching the ball from an offside position when Otavio diverted the ball into the net.
Ronaldo was incensed by the ruling and got into a heated argument with the referee about it.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was handed a yellow card for misconduct, but late in the game, with his team behind 2-0, he lashed out at an Al-Hilal player and received a straight red card.
