Ghana’s Charlton Athletic women’s star, Freda Ayisi, spoke to the media as the Black Queens got ready for the crucial second leg of their Olympic qualifying match against the Copper Queens of Zambia in Ndola tonight.
The new Black Queens player believes Ghana must compete in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, and in order to qualify for the following round, Ghana must avoid losing again.
“It will be amazing for the team to go for the Olympics because it’s a big opportunity to show the world that Ghana can play football and also put us on the map again,” Freda Ayisi stated.
The Black Queens are determined to cause a surprise on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Levy Nwanawasa Sports Stadium.
