MAX ENTERTAINMENT: Molestation allegations against Michael Jackson to go on trial

Date:

The California Court of Appeals is set to allow Wade Robinson’s molestation accusations against the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, to be heard in a court of law.

Robson claims Jackson molested him at his Neverland Ranch from age 7 to 14.

Robson is suing Jackson’s corporation. The company is arguing that they had no legal duty to protect anyone including Robson since the company had no independent control of the Pop icon.

In the past, Wade Robson, a former choreographer who had worked with Michael Jackson, had defended Jackson against molestation accusations. In 2005, during Jackson’s trial on child molestation charges involving another boy, Robson testified under oath that he had slept in Jackson’s bed but denied any molestation had occurred.

Since then, Robson’s position has changed. In 2013, after Jackson’s death, Robson filed a lawsuit against Jackson’s estate, claiming that he had been sexually abused by Jackson at his Neverland Ranch over a period of several years during his childhood. Robson stated that he had repressed memories of the abuse and had only recently come to terms with them.
However, he now says he falsely testified because of “complete manipulation and brain washing.”
