Victor Osimhen will not be available for the Super Eagles of Nigeria for their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Nigeria will face South Africa and Benin Republic in the upcoming qualifiers on June 7 and 10 respectively.
George Finidi has called-up Kenneth Igboke as a replacement for the Napoli striker who is nursing an injury.
“Africa Player of the Year, Victor Osimhen, is injured and out for 4 weeks. Super Eagles’ Coach Finidi George has called up Enugu Rangers’ left back Kenneth Igboke for the WC qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Rep,” reads the NFF statment on X.
