2024 BEACH SOCCER AFCON: Team Ghana arrives in Egypt

Date:

Ghana’s Beach Soccer National Team, the Black Sharks, has officially arrived in Egypt for the highly anticipated 2024 Beach Soccer African Cup of Nations, taking place from October 19-26 in Hurghada.

After a focused training camp in Keta, the team departed on Wednesday, fully prepared and eager to showcase their skills under the leadership of head coach Daniel Neequaye Kotey. The Black Sharks are set to make a splash in the tournament, with their first match in Group A against the host nation, Egypt, on October 19. Following this, they will face Morocco and Tanzania in their remaining group matches.

The competition in Group B is equally fierce, featuring defending champions Senegal, who will take on Mozambique, Malawi, and Mauritania.

The Black Sharks are determined to put forth a strong performance throughout the tournament, with their eyes set on not just claiming the continental title, but also securing a place at the 2025 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Seychelles.

The team’s spirit is high, and they are ready to make Ghana proud on the international stage. Fans are encouraged to rally behind the Black Sharks as they embark on this exciting journey.
