Ghanaian international Thomas Partey was exceptional for Arsenal in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday night.
Partey faced off against Jude Bellingham, Luka Modric, and Eduardo Camavinga in a fierce midfield battle, which he expertly bossed.
In the entire duration of the game, Partey managed to complete 61 passes out of 66, 77 touches, won 4 out of 7 ground duels, and made 7 key passes into the final third of the pitch.
The former Atletico Madrid star had a shot from the edge of the penalty box kept out by Thibaut Courtois and was all over the field, picking up loose passes and igniting attacking plays.
He is believed to be possibly getting a contract extension for his excellent performance despite interests from Saudi Arabia.
