Oliver Glasner has built on the strength of Crystal Palace ahead of the 2024–25 season with the signing of Japanese international star Daichi Kamada.
The Japanese signed a two-year deal from Italian side Lazio for the Eagles as he reunites with his former manager.
Kamada, who won the 2021–22 Europa League with a Frankfurt side led by Glasner, has been described by Palace’s chairman Steve Parish as “a truly exceptional talent.”
The midfielder also revealed his excitement about the move to the club’s website: “I am looking forward to testing myself in the Premier League, and hopefully the club and I can achieve all of our objectives together.”
With the imminent departure of Michael Olise, the 27-year-old’s arrival is expected to shore up the midfield of Palace.
