Ghana has undoubtedly been the highlight of American streamer iShowspeed’s African tour.
“I’m home!” He exclaimed while on his way to Accra after a spiritual awakening in Akropong on Monday.
At Akropong, Darren Jason Watkins Jr, referred privately, received a new name at the Palace of Okuapehene.
Speed was bestowed the name ‘Barima Kofi Akuffo’ during a courtesy call on the Okuapehene, Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo III.
Moving next to Independence Square in Accra, interacting with thousands of fans, Speed engaged with patrons at the supercar spectacle before backflipiing on the Black Star Gate.
He weighed in on the never-ending jollof war between Ghana and Nigeria by choosing Nigeria’s over Ghana’s after tasting Pizzaman/Chickenman’s jollof then backflipped on it.
Speed’s next stop was at the Bukom Square, where you sparred with boxers and performed Bukom Banku’s popular local song, ‘Give me the lighter’, in the ring.
Former Miss Malaika Queen and former model of Africa Universe Hamamat Montia hosted the streamer at her famous Hamamat African Village in Osu, where a host of beautiful Black Ghanaian ladies smeared shea butter all over him.
Globally celebrated YouTuber Wodemaya deserves a massive commendation for his role in Speed’s tour in Akropong.
