Asante Kotoko, on Sunday, December 28, 2025, recorded the biggest goal margin seen in recent years in the Ghana Premier League, a 6-0 win over Bechem United.
Guinean striker and eventual Man of the Match winner Morifing Donzo exhibited his best performance for the Kotoko since joining in August 2025.
Donzo opened the scoring just nine minutes into the matchweek 16 encounter at the Baba Yara Stadium with an easy tap-in after a well-worked move into Bechem’s 18-yard box.
Captain Samba O’Neil’s deflected header in the 22nd minute increased Kotoko’s goal tally before Donzo completed his brace of the game five minutes before halftime.
The high-flying striker Donzo turned provider in the 52nd minute, squaring up Hubert Gyau for the fourth goal for the Porcupine Warriors.
Relegation-threatened Bechem United’s woe worsened six minutes later through Johnson Owusu’s fortuitous goal and Kwame Poku’s goal in the second consecutive game for a humiliating defeat.
