The first Ghanaian to ever qualify the country to a FIFA World Cup competition, who passed away on August 12, 2024, Coach Oko Aryee, will be buried on October 12, 2024.

He was 83 years old at the time of his death. The Ressurection Methodist Church, located in Adenta, Accra, will host the final funeral services of the late gallant coach.
