The family of the late legendary highlife icon Charles Kwadwo Fosu, known in the industry as Daddy Lumba will on July 29 open a book of condolences to enable Ghanaians and all well wishers to pay their respect.
It will be held at the Private residence of the late singer at Kinshasha Crescent, house number 12 (GA-332-9264).
This was announced in a statement shared on the musician’s social platforms on July 27, 2025.
The statement indicated that the event will start at 9:00am and close at 4:00pm.
Through their lawyer Fati Ali Yallah, the Fosu family requested the public to continue to respect their privacy during this period of mourning.
They also expressed deep gratitude to everyone who has supported them through this difficult time and were grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support since the demise of the musician.
Daddy Lumba died on Saturday dawn after days of being admitted at the Bank Hospital in Accra, where he had been receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness.
His death is a heavy blow to the industry and it has attracted lots of well wishers and meaningful people eulogizing him on social media.
