England women’s national football team manager Sarina Wiegman has called up young English and Ghanaian talent Michelle Agyemang to the team.
Agyemang, 19, replaces Arsenal forward Alessia Russo in the squad, who has returned to the North London side to assess an “unspecified” injury.
The Brighton forward Agyemang has been capped at England’s under-19 and under-23 teams and now joins Wiegman’s Lionesses.
She has made 19 appearances for Brighton so far in the 2024-25 season after joining on loan from Arsenal.
