The FIFA/CAF FUTURO III instructor’s course in Cairo, Egypt, was held from Monday, June 12, to Friday, June 16, 2023. The course aimed to enhance the theoretical and practical knowledge of the participants in refereeing, and it was conducted by experienced FIFA technical instructors.
The attendees included Alex Kotey, who is the referees manager, as well as Grace Aglago, the Technical Instructor, and Augustina Fugah, the Fitness Instructor. Together, they formed a team dedicated to improving and developing the refereeing skills of their respective Members’ Associations.
During the course, the participants would have had the opportunity to learn various aspects of refereeing, including the latest techniques, rules, and best practices in the field.
By the end of the course, the aim would have been to equip the participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to train and guide referees within their respective associations, thereby raising the overall standard of refereeing in their regions.
