The defending champions of the Ghana Premier League (GPL), Medeama SC, have moved to the top of the league standings.
Despite their late start into the league due to their CAF Champions League qualifiers campaign, they were eventually eliminated.
Medeama have won three games, drawn twice, and lost none so far in the league.
The latest victory for the Yellow and Mauves came away against the newly promoted Debibi United on matchday 5.
Medeama have moved above former champions Hearts of Oak, FC Samartex, and Asante Kotoko.
Hearts of Oak held Dreams FC to a goalless draw on Sunday at the University of Ghana Stadium, while Asante Kotoko had beaten Karela United at home post- Eric Tinkler.
Meanwhile, another newly promoted side, Port City, stunned Bechem United to a 3-1.
