Hohoe United Withdraw From GPL

Date:

Hohoe United Football Club have officially withdrawn from the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.

This drastic decision follows the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) decision to uphold their home ban and fine imposed on the club.

The Hohoe stadium, home of the club, is one of the most vibrant venues in the league, recording full attendance in every home game.

GFA’s Disciplinary Committee to turn down Hohoe United’s appeal to the ban and fine of GHC30,000 for misconduct has irked the top brass at the club.

A sports analyst, Francis Agboyibor, confirmed to Max Online of Hohoe United’s stance to call it quits.

Hohoe United are currently battling to stay in the league in their debut season.
