Pay Comedians More Than Musicians— Lekzy DeComic

Date:

Story by: Samuella Mantebea Okanta

Lekzy DeComic has stated on Max FM that delivering comedy is much more difficult than creating music and therefore insists that comedians must be paid more than musicians.

He stated clearly that people sometimes have the perception that comedians just step on stage and joke, but even five minutes of a comedian on stage is not easy because every word and sentence uttered must sound laughable to the audience.

Lekzy opined to Showbiz Max’s Kumi Kasa that comedians also rehearse their lines to perfection before being staged.

“When people say 15 minutes, they do not pay for the 15 minutes but for the many times you tried and failed before you mastered it,” he declared.
