Michael Jordan’s Son Arrested For Drug Possession

Date:

Marcus Jordan, son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, has been arrested for a series of alleged crimes including drug possession and resisting arrest.

The entrepreneur was incarcerated in Orlando, Florida, on Monday, appearing less than pleased when asked to pose for a mugshot.

He was detained at Orange County Jail in the Sunshine State following his arrest for purportedly driving under the influence, possessing cocaine, and resisting arrest.

Marcus, a former college basketball player for the UCF Knights men’s basketball team, followed in the footsteps of his renowned father, Michael Jordan.

Marcus is the second child of the basketball superstar and his wife Juanita Vanoy, to whom Michael was married from 1989 until 2002.

After retiring his basketball jersey, Marcus established himself by founding and operating the upscale sneaker store, the Trophy Room.

He ventured into reality TV last year as a contestant on the second season of the American version of The Traitors, which features Z-list celebrities instead of ordinary people. However, it appears Marcus may not be entirely law-abiding, as he stands accused of several crimes.

Documents obtained by the Mirror indicate that on February 4, Marcus was arrested for resisting an officer without violence and cocaine possession. Additional documents reveal that he was imprisoned on the same day.

TMZ broke the news: “Marcus Jordan was thrown behind bars on Monday for allegedly committing a series of serious crimes.”

They further revealed: “[He] was arrested and booked into the Orange County Jail in Orlando, Florida for DUI, cocaine possession and resisting arrest, according to police records.”

PageSix chimed in with details about the arrest, noting that bail “has been set at $4,000” The legal proceedings against Marcus, under The State of Florida vs Jordan, Marcus James, are still ongoing.
