Mohammed Kudus and Jerome Opoku have joined the Black Stars team in preparation for the upcoming friendlies against Mexico and the United States of America.
Wednesday morning, West Ham United’s Mohammed Kudus reported for duty and later took part in the team’s evening workout.
The team also collaborated with Jerome Opoku, a Turkish player for Istanbul Başakşehir of the Süper Lig. With their arrival, there are now 21 players in camp.
On Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, Ghana will square off against the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup Champions, Mexico. The United States of America and the Black Stars will then square off on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee.
The players showed their dedication and preparedness for the task by participating in their second training session at the Charlotte FC facilities.
Coach Chris Hughton plans to use these two games as a crucial opportunity for his team’s appraisal, building the foundation.
