Prior to the 2021–2022 Ghana Premier League (GPL), the former WAFA coach joined the Porcupine Warriors as Mariano Barreto’s replacement.
The 44-year-old manager, who defeated Accra Hearts of Oak to win the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League with 67 points, put an end to Asante Kotoko’s seven-year league dry spell.
