Highlife legend Obuoba J.A. Adofo has disclosed that the needs and welfare of veteran musicians would have been met if they had someone like Shatta Wale doing their bidding.

According to him, there was an era when the veterans fought for their welfare but couldn’t reach their aim.

Speaking exclusively on Max Drive last Thursday, the celebrated highlife legend explained that the welfare of veterans was not met due to the calibre of personalities leading the campaign.

‎He stated that if they had a fearless and strong personality like Shatta Wale among them to lead the fight, their desires would have been met.

“Shatta is strong and fearless; that’s why I like him so much. If we had his calibre during our fight for the welfare of veteran musicians, I swear today the veterans would have had a better, luxurious life. Our desires would have been met,” he stated.

‎‎Obuoba maintained that his interest in Shatta Wale sparked the moment he heard his song and saw his lifestyle.
