Thomas Partey to miss semis after senseless clash

Date:

Ghanaian international Thomas Partey will miss the first leg of the semi-finals of the 2024-25 UEFA Champions League.

Partey was doing all the right things to ensure Arsenal progressed to the final four of Europe’s elite club competition until an accumulation of a second yellow card after a senseless clash with Rudiger.

Arsenal completed a double win both in London and Madrid over the current and record holders of the trophy to fix a date with Ligue 1 champions, Paris St-Germain.

The former Black Stars captain will surely be a big miss for Mikel Arteta, as he’ll be forced to make tactical changes against the French giants.
