Michelle Agyemang was named the best young player of the 2025 UEFA Women’s Championship at the end of the tournament.
England eventually emerged winners with a 3-1 penalty shoot-out victory against Spain to lift the trophy.
Agyemang saved the Three Lionesses twice from elimination with late goals against Sweden in the quarterfinals and Italy in the semifinals.
She received a loud cheer from the packed St. Jakob Park in Basel, Switzerland, as her name was mentioned as the best young player.
Her father in the stands could be seen beaming with pride and joy watching his 19-year-old dancing her way to the podium to receive her award.
