Freezy ‘The British Mike Tyson‘ MacBones was all torn up reminiscing about the sacrifices of his late mother.
MacBones, born Seth Gyimah, was bred in Beeman in the Ashanti Region in difficult conditions.
He recalled trekking on foot to Asante Asokore due to the lack of public transportation, which was a result of his hometown’s underdevelopment.
With his parents into farming because that was the only job they could do, he and his siblings were often obligated to help out in selling their farm produce.
A mother is not a mother only because of giving birth to a child but because of providing her all, not only materialism but cherished memories of love and sacrifice. That is who the late mother of MacBones was to him.
Freezy attributed his current success to his hard upbringing, from a day-to-day 6-mile walk on foot to Asokore for schooling to being a construction worker before his silent rise as a globally acclaimed boxer in the United Kingdom.
The Ghanaian is on the brink of winning his first title as a professional boxer when he takes on Russian-born, Dutch-raised Manchester boxer Art Jom Kasparian in Manchester on October 4, 2025.
