Former Black Stars player, Mohammed Polo has advised Andre Dede Ayew to consider calling time on his international career.
Ayew, 34, has had a stellar season with the oldest French club, Le Havre, in the Ligue. He scored six goals in 19 appearances in all competitions with the French outfit.
Reacting to the decision of the head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo’s, to drop Dede Ayew, Mohammed Polo stated that the decision to retire rests solely on Ayew.
“It’s up to Dede to decide to retire or not., but I will personally advise him to retire because he has done enough for the nation.
In life, if your time is up, it doesn’t matter what you do. Dede has done a lot for our national teams. What he has done is for prosperity to talk about.”
The FIFA U-20 winning captain is the most-capped Black Stars player.
