The team is set to hold its first training session on Monday in preparation for the upcoming match, with additional sessions scheduled in the following days. As of Monday, February 17, a total of 18 players have reported to camp.
Head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren announced his squad shortly after his official unveiling, selecting only four players from the Ghana Women’s Premier League.
Morocco will host Ghana in what will serve as Bjorkegren’s first test since his appointment as the new head coach.
The Black Queens departed Accra in the early hours of Saturday, February 15, to commence their training camp for the friendly match. The team has now arrived in Casablanca ahead of their clash against Morocco on Friday, February 21.
