Stonebwoy is not under any pressure to amass a crowd at the Accra Sports Stadium for his 10th edition of BHIMFEST 2025 slated for December 26, Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng, the Head of Public Relations, Burniton Music Group, has said.
According to her, Stonebwoy has been organising this annual festival to leave a footprint behind for the upcoming generation to follow.
Speaking on the Max Morning Show in Accra on Thursday, Vida stated that Stonebwoy had projected a unique craft and was always focused on the quality experience the patrons would gain rather than the crowd.
“There’s no pressure on Stonebwoy because, as I told you, this is our 10th anniversary. We have held BHIMFEST from year one to year 10. Every year there’s something unique about the concert; he is not under any form of pressure to pull a crowd. At least, we all know the capacity of Accra Sports Stadium, 50,000 plus,” she indicated.
Vida further stated that Stonebwoy was focused on public safety, quality performance and the positive stories about the concert for upcoming musicians to emulate.
“What we want the public to know is that there’s something positive that Stonebwoy portrays every year that we want the generation coming up to emulate. So there’s no pressure anywhere for him to prove a point.”
Stonebwoy is not an artist that you can doubt. He has set the track record and has done anything possible that an established artist can do,” she added.
Her statement comes in response to critics who believed Stonebwoy was under pressure to outwit Shatta Wale and Medikal, whose respective concerts were patronised by a gigantic crowd.
