Afrodancehall musician Stonebwoy has disclosed that the BHIMFEST 2025 was rescheduled from December 26 to 24 due to the safety and comfort of patrons.
The concert, which coincided with a free show, Taste Of Ghana, a government-sponsored event on the 26th, had many of Stonebwoy’s fans believe the act was a purported effort to sabotage the musician.
Speaking in a recent media interview, Stonebwoy indicated that after their plea fell on deaf ears, his management team had to find a better date to pave the way for the concert.
”My team chose a perfect date but that also coincides with Samini’s concert. That was what hurt me because I needed to even pass through my senior brother’s event but Samini understood everything,” he said.
Stonebwoy emphasised that the show was not rescheduled due to fear of people not patronizing his concert but rather it was done for the comfortability and safety of patrons.
”The mindset was for BHIMFEST not to clash with any concert. Taste of Ghana and my concert are in the same area so patrons wouldn’t even get a place to park their cars.”
”My team did everything to ensure our pleas will be heard but since the free event was not sent to 29th as it’s always done, I saw it as divine communication and we fixed it on 24th for the safety of patrons,” he added.
