Gospel musician Diana Hamilton embarked on a remarkable act of compassion visit to the Mamobi General Hospital settling medical bills of new mothers unable to check out due to financial constraints.
The gesture formed part of activities marking the birthday of her twins on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
She toured the facility to ensure that these mothers were discharged after her philanthropic act.
Speaking to the media, the multiple award-winning singer explained that the initiative was inspired not only by empathy, but also by her deep personal ties to the hospital.
She revealed that she was born at the Mamobi Polyclinic, making the intervention a symbolic return to where her own story began.
During her visit, Diana prayed for the mothers, offered heartfelt words of encouragement, and urged them to raise their children with love, care, and strong moral values rooted in faith.
Reflecting on the significance of the day, she shared, “December 9th, 2015, a blessed day when I welcomed twins into the world. Every year, I make it a point to spend quality time with them, but this year I’m focusing on giving back.
I’m at Mamobi General Hospital helping to cover medical bills for kids who are still in care due to financial constraints. I believe no child should remain in the hospital simply because their family cannot afford to pay. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to do this in January and again in March in Sunyani, and I’m thrilled to have a friend who shares this vision and is supporting this year’s project with me.”
Diana Hamilton currently has a new song out, featuring Ntokozo Mbambo and the legendary Elder Mireku, titled ‘Aha Ye’. The song is performing exceptionally well on radio, across digital platforms, and on social media, gaining impressive traction.
This year, Diana Hamilton also successfully hosted her annual Awake Experience in Accra, Kumasi, and Sunyani, capped off with an outstanding edition in the United States of America.
