Four people have been killed after a heavy-duty truck rammed into a hairdressing salon.

Residents of Kumawu in the Ashanti Region were plunged into a state of mourning with the tragic incident.

Fully loaded with sand, it lost control and slammed into the salon, killing the hairdresser, her apprentice, and her customer with a baby.

The driver, along with three others, sustained injuries, and one in critical condition is receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

Reports indicate this is the second time a truck belonging to the construction company working on the Kumawu roads has veered into a structure.
