The Member of Parliament for Akim Oda, Alexander Akwasi Acquah, has rolled out a major educational support program for more than 600 students who recently passed the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
Each beneficiary received GH¢1,000, a certificate, and a package that included a chop box, exercise books, and provisions, as well as other items required for fresh SHS admissions.
The MP’s initiative forms part of his vision, which focusses on improving education, empowering youth, and driving socio-economic growth across the constituency.
It was intended to encourage students to pursue their studies with renewed vigour, in addition to relieving their parents of some of their financial burdens.
