Legendary rapper Obrafour has charged his protégé Sarkodie to direct the respect he has for him to God.
According to him, he is nobody for Sarkodie to treat him with so much respect and honour.
In a viral video on social media, Obrafour expressed gratitude to Sarkodie for acknowledging his impact on his music, but he claimed he sometimes felt embarrassed when Sarkodie paid so much homage to him.
“Sarkodie is huge, but anytime he sees me and wants to kneel before me, it sometimes embarrasses me. I ask myself, ‘Who am I for Sarkodie to lie on the floor for me?’ he queried.
Obrafour, who acknowledged his influence on Sarkodie’s music, stated that he couldn’t have made such a great impact on Sarkodie’s musical life if it wasn’t for the guidance of God.
He therefore charged Sarkodie to pay that homage to God and not him.
Over the years, Obrafour and Sarkodie have collaborated and released hit bangers like Saa Okodie No, Always On My Mind, Hope and Life.
The two have exceptional rapping prowess, which has earned them many accolades and admiration from Ghanaians and foreigners.
