Renowned dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has called on the government as a matter of urgency to institute measures in curbing accidents in Ghana.
His calls came when he expressed deep sorrows over the sudden demise of eight government officials who lost their lives in a helicopter crash last Wednesday.
Reacting to the tragic incident in an interview, Stonebwoy indicated that he lost two BHIM fans and expressed regret about the incident.
“Just like everybody else, it is difficult to actually comprehend. We are all just shocked…it’s crazy.”
“There are people that I am close with personally, like Honourable himself, big BHIM nation, big support; he encourages me. He is like a father figure, and another father figure is the former Ashanti Regional Minister as well.”
“They were very close people, and the others were honourable people as well. It’s really a sad moment for Ghana,” he said.
For the country not to encounter such a disaster, Stonebwoy urged the government to do everything in its power to mitigate accidents in the country.
“This isn’t just a family loss; Ghana has been hit. The state must employ measures to avoid such disasters,” he added.
