Hiplife grandpapa, Reggie Rockstone, has expressed worry about how rivalry among creatives is crippling the growth of the industry.
According to him, the act has divided the industry and makes it unappealing for investors to invest into the sector.
Speaking in a recent interview with the media, Rockstone observed that years of feuds, fractured alliances, and ego battles have left the industry too divided to command respect when engaging corporate bodies.
“Let me begin with my own people. We ourselves are so divided that we don’t have a united front to even go sit with these folks. We are so fragmented. Every day, you hear that this person and that person are beefing,” he lamented.
Rockstone further accused fans of increasing tensions and fuelling conflicts among musicians, making collaborations even impossible for those feuding musicians.
