Lesotho head coach Leslie Notsi insists his team can claim a famous victory against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The Crocodiles will be up against the Super Eagles in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchday nine encounter in Polokwane on Friday (today).
Nigeria, with their impressive pedigree and significant class difference, will enter the game as overwhelming favourites.
Notsi, however, believed they could beat their highly illustrious opponent.
“We are approaching this match knowing it’s not going to be easy, but we have the self-belief that we had before, in our previous encounter. We believe we have an opportunity to continue where we left off in our last match in November 2023,” Notsi said ahead of the game.
The Crocodiles sit in fifth position in Group C with nine points from eight games.
